Frye 5-for-5 Against Terrapins Friday, May 16th, 2025 Today the Tigers downed the Terrapins 12-2 as Artie Frye sprayed hits all over Plainsman Park in a 5-hit explosion, finishing with 5 hits in 5 at-bats. The Auburn third baseman said to reporters in the postgame interview, "It makes it easier if you get a good pitch. The odds are in your favor then, not the pitcher's. I got a bunch of very pretty pitches to hit today and I didn't miss any of them." Artie Frye singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI double in the 8th. In his season totals Frye has 1 home run and a .233 batting average. |
