Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Harris Tuesday, May 13th, 2025 And the hits just keep on coming -- especially off the red-hot bat of Nick Harris. The Bulldogs center fielder got 1 hit in 2 at-bats in today's 6-4 triumph over the Oklahoma State Cowboys at Foley Field. Harris has now hit safely in his last 25 games. Asked by the press, how it feels to go through something like this, he replied, "the longer it goes on, the more the pressure intensifies. The press coverage can get relentless at times. I wish I could just go out and play the game without all this distraction, but I know that's not going to happen. I know I will just have to grin and bear it." Nick Harris grounded out in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, walked in the 5th and hit a two-run single in the 7th. To date this year Harris is batting .408 with 6 home runs. |
