Jones Wins NCAA Player of the Week Honors Monday, April 28th, 2025 When it came to hitting the baseball, John Jones was in a class by himself in the NCAA this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding shortstop for Tennessee tagged opposing pitchers for a .667 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 14 hits in 21 at-bats, 3 homers, 5 runs scored and 8 RBIs. This year Jones has 6 home runs and a .318 batting average. |
