Davis Grabs NCAA Roger Clemens Award
Sunday, June 21st, 2026
Usually relievers are treated like second-class citizens at award time. Most of the time the accolades go to the starters, but not this season. A Texas A&M reliever, Scott Davis, has been honored with the 2026 Roger Clemens Award in the NCAA.

The Aggies ace appeared in 10 games and saved 0 of them. He finished with a record of 5-0 and a 1.37 ERA. Davis had 74 strikeouts in 59 innings and limited opposing hitters to a .142 batting average.

Ron Hannah of the South Florida Bulls finished second in voting, while Ron Huggins of the Kansas State Wildcats finished third.
