Johnson Slams 5 Hits for Washington

At Penmen Ballpark Ben Johnson was the King of Swing today in the 10-5 win over the Bulldogs. The Washington left fielder stepped into the batter's box 5 times against the Butler and delivered 5 hits. It was a sensational game for him. He told the press, "Unbelievable feeling. It felt good. 5 for 5! It does wonders for your batting average, too." Ben Johnson hit a two-run home run off Pete Mueller in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Pete Mueller in the 5th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.

This season Johnson has hit 9 home runs and posted a .281 batting average.
