Jones's Hit Streak Reaches 20 Games

Tennessee's John Jones was 1-for-3 in the Volunteers 9-2 victory over the UCLA Bruins. That stretched his hitting streak to 20 games.

In the clubhouse after the win, the 20-year-old Jones told reporters, "I'm in a groove right now, and I am trying to stay there by doing the same things over and over again. If I change something, it might bring me bad luck."
John Jones walked in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, walked in the 6th and struck out in the 8th.

This season Jones has hit at a .316 clip and produced 21 RBI, 7 home runs and 35 runs.
