Scott King Out of Action Saturday, May 2nd, 2026 Huskies starting pitcher Scott King will be spending 4-5 months on the shelf according to his manager. He was hurt in a recent game against Colorado throwing a pitch and suffered shoulder inflammation. The Connecticut GM told BNN no decision had been made on his replacement. He said an announcement was forthcoming, probably tomorrow. Presently King has a 4-2 mark in 7 starts with a 4.34 ERA. He has given up 29 hits in 37.1 innings, struck out 45 and issued 13 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .212 batting average against him. |
