Arnie Smeddon Out 15 Months Saturday, May 2nd, 2026 It was announced today in Arkansas that Razorbacks closer Arnie Smeddon will be on the mend for 15 months because of a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament he sustained in a recent game against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Smeddon was injured throwing a pitch. This season Smeddon has 2 saves. In 17 relief appearances he has tossed 20.1 innings, struck out 27 and issued 10 walks with a 2-1 record. The Arkansas reliever has recorded a 7.52 ERA and allowed the opposition to hit .287 when he is in the game. |
