Week's Best Player: Rutgers's Keesee
Monday, April 27th, 2026
A hot-hitting week got Ed Keesee the NCAA Player of the Week trophy. He really wore out his welcome with league pitchers.
The Rutgers second baseman slammed them for a .552 average, 16 hits in 29 at-bats, 2 home runs, 4 RBIs and scored 9 runs.
In the postgame press conference, Keesee shared his hitting philosophy with the BNN scribes: "Just look for the seams and hit between them... nothin' more than that."
On the season, Keesee is batting .394 with 6 home runs and 18 RBIs. He has played in 24 games.
