Jordan on Fire, Strikes out 15 Huskies Sunday, April 19th, 2026 It was a very special game for Ronald Jordan today at Siebert Field in Minnesota. He had the perfect delivery. The good fastball. The nasty curve. The batters mumbling and muttering when they swung and missed. And when he needed a strikeout, he got it. In an unforgettable performance the 20-year-old Jordan fanned 15 Huskies and sparked the Minnesota Golden Gophers to a 8-7 victory over Washington. His catcher commented, "I don't think I have seen him throw better. His location and command were really something." In addition to his 15 strikeouts, Johnson allowed 4 hits and no walks in a superlative outing. His manager added, "It's a manager's day off when you get pitching like that." The Washington skipper had no comment. |
