Cordero on Fire: 5-for-6 for Providence Saturday, April 18th, 2026 Providence defeated Oklahoma State today at Allie P. Reynolds Stadium. The highlight of the game was catcher Albert Cordero. His hitting heroics included a 5-for-6 day, paving the way for a Friars 10-6 triumph over the Cowboys. Albert Cordero was hit by a pitch in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, struck out in the 7th, singled in the 9th, singled in the 11th and hit a two-run single in the 12th. This season Cordero has hit at a .483 clip and produced 6 runs batted in, 1 home run and 7 runs. |
