Indiana Halts Thompson's Hitting Steak Sunday, April 12th, 2026 The Indiana Hoosiers clamped down on Eric Thompson and put a stop to his hit streak at 26 straight games. He went without a hit, but it didn't keep the Bulldogs from winning the game. Mississippi State downed the Hoosiers 5-4. So far this season Thompson is hitting .444 with 3 home runs, 13 RBIs and 15 runs scored. He has 20 hits in 45 at-bats and a .559 OBP. |
