Razorbacks Chill Cardenas's Hot Streak Tuesday, April 7th, 2026 Lady Luck was not on the side of Francisco Cardenas or his teammates today at Baum Stadium. Everything went the Arkansas Razorbacks way. They not only came away with a 4-2 victory, but also held Cardenas hitless in 4 at-bats to put an end to the left fielder's 23-game hitting streak. "It was a good run," Cardenas said afterward. "But it'd be much easier to take right now if we had won." So far this season Cardenas is batting .414 with 4 home runs, 9 RBIs and 7 runs scored. He has 12 hits in 29 at-bats, 4 walks and a .500 OBP. Cardenas has played in 7 games. |
