Anderson Blisters Jasper Tuesday, September 15th, 2026 Eau Claire center fielder Dave Anderson could do no wrong in today's 7-6 win over the Cougars as he collected 5 hits. "In every one of his at-bats things were in his favor... he got hitter's counts," the skipper of the Cougars said to the press corps after the game. Anderson agreed. "The key is getting ahead. Once you get ahead, it makes it a lot easier because you get a better pitch to hit. You know the pitcher has to come in with it. And you're ready." Dave Anderson grounded out in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 9th and hit an RBI single in the 10th. So far in 2026 Anderson is batting .248 with 1 home run, 14 RBIs and 10 runs scored. He has 29 hits in 117 at-bats and a .279 OBP. |
