Hernández Goes Hitless, Streak Stopped at 29 Wednesday, September 2nd, 2026 Cougars second baseman David Hernández finally met his Waterloo. His 29-game hitting spree is now history. He was unable to make anything happen in 3 at-bats in today's game against the Saskatoon Smokin' Guns, but the rest of his team had enough in their bats to win the game 2-0.
