Carrillo Nabs PIO #1 Pitcher Award Tuesday, September 1st, 2026 In August, Roberto Carrillo tore through the Pioneer League like a seasoned veteran -- quite impressive for a player only 20 years old. The young Chula Vista starter posted a 5-0 mark and an ERA of 1.23 to earn the Pitcher of the Month award. In 36.2 innings he collected 47 strikeouts while limiting the opposition to a .138 average. This season Carrillo has compiled a 11-9 mark with a 3.78 ERA. |
