Molina Gets 5 Hits Saturday, August 22nd, 2026 It doesn't happen very often, but it happened for Ramón Molina -- a 5-hit day. He went on a rampage at The Pleasure Dome and paced the Sinners to a 21-4 win over the Eau Claire Esquires. After his dynamite batting performance the Surrey first baseman told the press, "I just tried to get myself in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid some great dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 5 tries and put his name in the record book. Ramón Molina hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Pete O'Connor in the 3rd, walked in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th and singled in the 7th. Molina is presently hitting at a .321 pace with 8 home runs, 48 RBIs and has scored 45 times. |
