Sinners Chill Mendoza's Hot Streak Friday, August 14th, 2026 Enrique Mendoza of the Seattle Rainiers came up empty at the plate today and went hitless in 4 at-bats. That put a quick end to his 22-game hitting streak. To make matters even worse, Seattle dropped the game to the Surrey Sinners 7-1. In a postgame comment Mendoza told the press, "It was not a good day today. We lost the game and the streak is over." To date, Mendoza has collected 81 hits for a .306 average. He has posted 12 home runs, scored 46 runs and driven in 42 runs. |
