Seattle's Moore Gets PIO Player of the Week
Monday, August 10th, 2026
A hot-hitting week got Alan Moore the Pioneer League Player of the Week trophy. He really wore out his welcome with league pitchers.
The Seattle first baseman slammed them for a .444 average, 12 hits in 27 at-bats, 3 home runs, 10 RBIs and scored 7 runs.
In the postgame press conference, Moore shared his hitting philosophy with the BNN scribes: "Just look for the seams and hit between them... nothin' more than that."
This season Moore is swinging the bat at a .314 pace. He has hit 13 home runs and scored 55 times, while driving in 54. His on-base percentage is .369 and he has played in 100 games.
