Kenosha's Martínez Snaps Up Player of the Week Monday, June 15th, 2026 The top batter in the Appalachian League last week was Francisco Martínez, who batted .560 and towered above everybody with a 6-game hitting barrage. During the week Martínez banged out a .560 batting average (14-for-25), 2 home runs, 6 RBI and scored 7 runs. Today the Kenosha catcher received the APL Player of the Week Award. This season Martínez has hit at a .328 clip with 45 RBIs, 8 home runs and 44 runs scored. He has played in 57 games. |
