Wednesday, October 21st, 2026
He's in the early phase of his career, but this past season Sean Perry performed like a veteran on the hill for the State College Spikes and walked away with the Appalachian League Outstanding Pitcher Award in the process.

The 23-year-old Spikes star fashioned a 21-6 won-loss record in 2026 with a 2.44 ERA. In 192 innings of work and 33 starts, Perry struck out 207 while giving up 152 hits and 45 walks. He held opposing batters to a .215 average.

Francisco Álvarez of the State College Spikes finished second in voting, while Pedro Santiago of the Nantucket Orcas finished third.
