Kel Meyer to Miss 11 Months Sunday, August 16th, 2026 Kel Meyer expressed his disappointment when he learned that a damaged elbow ligament would sideline him for 11 months. "I'll just spend a lot of time in the training room and hopefully speed up the healing process. Nobody likes to be out of the line-up," explained Meyer. The starting pitcher got hurt in today's game with the Athens Assassins. He was hurt throwing a pitch. Team officials had no comment on his roster replacement. On his stats sheet this season Meyer shows a 5-8 record, 26 starts, 123 innings, 106 strikeouts and a 6.22 ERA. |
