5-Hit Game for O'Farrell Sunday, August 16th, 2026 Charlie O'Farrell had an answer for everything the Scottsdale Scorpions threw him today in the Detroit 14-7 triumph at Augusta-Richmond County Grounds. He made good contact 5 times and 5 times he drilled the ball for a base hit. The Detroit left fielder went 5 for 5 in the game to put his name in the record book. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, O'Farrell said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Charlie O'Farrell doubled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 7th.
