MSL Trophy Goes to Salazar of Plumstead Monday, September 21st, 2026 Pitchers who faced the Plumstead Eagles last week were happy to see António Salazar in the rear view mirror. The 22-year-old center fielder was dubbed the Midwest League Player of the Week for a 5-game tear that saw him hit at a .600 clip. For the week he also chalked up 12 hits in 20 at-bats, no home runs, 6 RBIs and 5 runs scored. This year Salazar is hitting .298, produced 71 RBIs and 8 home runs, scored 75 times and gotten on base at a .417 rate. |
