Un-four-gettable: Brown Hits for Cycle

It was a special day for John Brown at Barnett Field. Not only did Jaxx beat the Bemidji Benders 8-0, but the Erie second baseman hit for the cycle, too. The 22-year-old Brown racked up 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run to get his name mentioned in the record book. For the game he was 4-for-5 with 5 RBI and 2 runs scored.
In the words of the Bemidji manager, "He hit everything we threw. There was just no getting him out today." Speaking to the press after the game, Brown said, "First pitch fastballs, that's what I was looking for today... I got some good looks."
John Brown singled in the 1st, hit an RBI triple in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Jesús Guerrero in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 6th and flied out in the 8th.
A look at his season totals shows Brown with 8 home runs, .247 BA, .336 OBP, 69 RBIs and 53 runs scored.
