Baker's Hit Streak Reaches 34 Games Tuesday, August 25th, 2026 The number just keeps getting higher and higher. Meatheads right fielder Denver Baker has now extended his hitting string to 34 games. He did it with 2 hits in the Manhatten 18-7 win over the 08s at Manhattan Metro Field. Denver Baker hit a three-run home run off Brad White in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Brad White in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, walked in the 6th and walked in the 8th. Thus far this season Baker is hitting .271 with 15 home runs, 83 RBIs and 70 runs scored. He has 135 hits in 499 at-bats and has played in 129 games. |
