ESL Star of the Week Honored Monday, July 13th, 2026 A hot-hitting week got Brant Sherman the Eastern League Player of the Week trophy. He really wore out his welcome with league pitchers. The Springfield center fielder slammed them for a .464 average, 13 hits in 28 at-bats, 2 home runs, 10 RBIs and scored 12 runs. In the postgame press conference, Sherman shared his hitting philosophy with the BNN scribes: "Just look for the seams and hit between them... nothin' more than that." This year Sherman is hitting .287 with 10 home runs. |
