ESL Star of the Week Honored Monday, August 10th, 2026 22-year-old Nick Harris made a few Springfield headlines during this past week as the rookie center fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Eastern League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 13 hits in 27 at-bats to put up a .481 average. Harris collected no home runs, 8 RBIs and scored 5 runs. For the season Harris has produced 107 hits in 389 at-bats for a .275 average with 2 home runs and gotten on base at a .427 clip. |
