White Sox Bailey Down with Injury Wednesday, August 5th, 2026 It took the Butler team doctor a while to realize it, but reliever Dan Bailey won't simply play through a torn flexor tendon in his elbow after he got hurt throwing a pitch in today's LightSabres-White Sox game. At first, it looked like Bailey might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 9-10 months. This year Bailey has registered 1 save in 27 relief appearances. He has also compiled a 2-0 won-lost mark with a 3.80 ERA. In 42.2 innings he has fanned 40. |
