Red-Hot Rampage Reaps SNL Reward Monday, July 6th, 2026 So far in his young career, António Cedeño has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Southern League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 22-year-old Gainesville Guidos first baseman hit at a torrid .481 clip as he collected 13 hits in 27 at-bats, 5 home runs, 12 RBIs and 7 runs scored. Thus far in 2026 Cedeño is hitting .319 with 24 home runs, 59 RBIs, 52 runs scored and has compiled a .431 OBP. |
