Rodríguez was named today as the winner of the Southern League Outstanding Pitcher Award. Rodríguez crafted an impressive 15-1 record and a 1.86 ERA. In 160 innings he allowed 98 hits, struck out 170, and walked 54. Francisco Nieto of the Salem Silver Souls finished second in voting, while José Salinas of the New Hampshire Fisher Cats finished third. |
