The Culver City second baseman blistered Riverside for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. "Gonzáles was too tough to get out today," the Red Bulls skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Jesús Gonzáles walked in the 1st, doubled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th, flied out in the 7th, hit a solo-shot off Raúl Hernández in the 8th and hit a two-run single in the 9th.
