7-Hit Game for Cabaņas Saturday, May 2nd, 2026 Houston left fielder Juan Cabaņas put on quite a show at Red Hot Stadium with a big 7-hit day. But all for naught. The Hammertime were beaten 7-6 by the Albuquerque Isotopes. In the postgame interview he said, "The team didn't do too well today, but it was a good one for me, at least at the plate. Wish I could do this more often. It would do wonders for my batting average ... and my salary, too. But I could do without the losing." Juan Cabaņas singled in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, walked in the 9th, doubled in the 11th, doubled in the 13th, walked in the 15th and hit an RBI single in the 16th. So far this season Cabaņas is hitting .410 with 5 home runs. |
