Huge Year For Hammertime Galindo, Nabs Outstanding Pitcher Award Saturday, October 24th, 2026 It was a glorious year for António Galindo of the Houston Hammertime. He finished the season with 20 victories and only 5 losses, with an impressive 4.35 ERA. The talented Hammertime pitcher started 34 games and struck out 236 batters in 215.1 innings and won the Pacific Coast League Outstanding Pitcher Award. "It means a lot," Galindo said. "I hadn't really had a chance to sit down and think about it yet. It feels good right now. I can't really put it into words, but I'm sure later on tonight when I have a chance to sit down with my family and think about it, I'll have some words for it. But right now, I'm just happy that it happened this year." Jim Sheppard of the Calgary Cowboys finished second in voting, while Kazuo Mochizuki of the Vancouver Vipers finished third. |
