Leonardo Rodríguez Sidelined for 13 Months Tuesday, September 15th, 2026 The Bruins received bad news this morning. Leonardo Rodríguez will miss 13 months due to a damaged elbow ligament. He sustained the injury in the Santa Monica-Redwood City game while throwing a pitch. "I'm disappointed more than anything," he told reporters later in the day. "You can't help your team on the bench," Rodríguez sighed. "I'll do the rehab work and hope for a quick recovery." This season Rodríguez has been credited with 3 saves in 61 relief appearances.
