Gómez Bangs Out 5 Base Hits Wednesday, August 5th, 2026 Lansing shortstop Wilson Gómez went 5-for-6 today and paced the Lugnuts to a 27-2 victory over the San Jose Missions at $5 Footlong Field. Wilson Gómez flied out in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, hit a two-run single in the 3rd, walked in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit a two-run single in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. Currently Gómez is batting .319 with 123 hits and 3 home runs. He has knocked in 46 runs and scored 65 times. |
