Archdukes Beltrán Suffers Injury Wednesday, September 23rd, 2026 Watching Ignacio Beltrán getting helped off the field today at The Lair in Charlotte, fans of the Amarillo Archdukes feared the worst. The news wasn't quite as bad as initially feared, but the reliever will miss 14 months with a torn ulnar collateral ligament. "We feel we've dodged a bullet. When you see a guy break down like that, you worry right away," a team spokesman said. Beltrán suffered the injury throwing a pitch in the game against the 83's. So far this season Beltrán is 3-and-3 with 11 saves and a 4.95 ERA. He has given up 32 hits in 43.2 innings with 76 strikeouts. |
