Howard Lambert Out of Action Tuesday, September 15th, 2026 The Amarillo Archdukes learned that Howard Lambert is likely to be out for 4 months after he injured himself making a defensive play in today's game against the Topeka Tornados. A round of tests by the team doctor revealed the injury to be a torn labrum. Upon hearing the diagnosis, the Amarillo manager told the press, "As you all know, we can't control injuries -- they are a part of the game. We just have to do the best we can until Howard is back in action." So far this year, Lambert is batting .358 with 23 home runs and 109 RBIs. |
