Santana Batters Trenton for 6 Hits Tuesday, September 1st, 2026 Topeka left fielder Gabriel Santana put on quite a show at Trenton Stadium with a big 6-hit day in the 44-2 victory over the Trenton Stars. In the postgame interview, he said with a smile, "Not a bad day at the plate, 6 for 9.. Wish I could do this more often. It would do wonders for my batting average ... and my salary, too." Gabriel Santana flied out in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, walked in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, hit a two-run single in the 7th, hit a two-run single in the 7th, singled in the 8th, flied out in the 9th and hit a two-run single in the 9th.
