Newell Bombs 3 HR Against Trenton Sunday, August 30th, 2026 Elliott Newell was sending souvenirs to the sun gods all game long in the Topeka 21-6 triumph over Trenton, launching not one, not two, but three home runs into the stands. Nobody who was at Trenton Stadium will forget this home run outburst anytime soon. The Topeka first baseman went 3-for-5, rung up 9 RBIs and scored 4 runs on his record-setting day. He told the press corps after his three home run binge, "One homer's good, two's great, three's out of sight. I can't wait until tomorrow's game. I really feel good at the plate."
