That would be hard to believe for anyone who saw him dispose of the Stars with a great 6-hit performance. "He made it look easy," said the Trenton manager, who saw his team fall to the Cape Cod Clams, 37-1. "Hats off to him!" Yasuhiro Kobayashi singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit a two-run single in the 3rd, walked in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, walked in the 6th, singled in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Joe Fisher in the 8th. This season Kobayashi is hitting .325 with 135 hits, 7 home runs, 61 RBIs, scored 87 runs and played in 108 games. |
