Birmingham Barons Mathematically Out of Playoffs Tuesday, August 18th, 2026 Marc May said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" after his team missed the International League playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately has run out of games to secure a postseason spot. The Barons have missed the playoffs 18 times in their 19 years as a International League franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 14th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2012. |
