League Championship Goes the Distance, Irvine Prevails Saturday, October 31st, 2026 The Irvine Gang Green have advanced to the BSA Championship on "hard work and determination," according to the series MVP. "That's all it is, we were willing to work harder, we wanted it more and we wouldn't be denied," said Jung Chwa. "We feel like this is our year and we aren't going to be stopped." The Baffin Island Beavers certainly put up a good fight, as the series came right down to the wire. Irvine won the final game by a 5-0 count and the series 4-3. Chwa had a 0.00 ERA over 13 innings pitched to earn the MVP. He also added 6 strikeouts with a 1-1 record. The Irvine Gang Green will play against the Jersey Shore D-Bags in the next round. Jersey Shore won their series against the Springfield Stars 4 games to 2. The BSA Championship schedule will be announced after the League Championship finishes. |
