Jersey Shore Takes Divisional Round in Deciding Game Wednesday, October 21st, 2026 Baseball Stars Association fans were certainly not disappointed with this year's Continental League Divisional Round. The two teams were evenly matched and the series went to the final game, with the Jersey Shore D-Bags prevailing over the Pocatello Boccabellas to advance to the League Championship. Jersey Shore won the final game by a 8-0 count at Ballpark at the Shore and that sealed the series 4-3. "Things were pretty tense in our clubhouse and dugout before and during this game, but we can let loose a bit now - the hard work is over, for now," said Pat Zimmerman, who earned MVP honors. For the series, Zimmerman hit .714 with a .714 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, 4 RBI and scored 1 runs. The Jersey Shore D-Bags will play against the Springfield Stars in the next round. Springfield won their series against the Greenville 84s 4 games to 1. The League Championship schedule will be announced after the Divisional Round finishes. |
