Beavers are off to League Championship Monday, October 19th, 2026 The Baffin Island Beavers have advanced to the League Championship, thanks in large part to the pitching performance of Robert Reeves. He led the way during the Divisional Round, as his club eliminated the New Orleans Looters 4-1. The final game came tonight at Beaver Dam with a 9-1 victory for Baffin Island. "I don't think I did anything special or better than any of my teammates that helped us get here. It takes everyone to win a series," Reeves said modestly. But his 0.00 ERA over 15.1 innings pitched, with 13 strikeouts certainly helped. The Baffin Island Beavers will play against the Irvine Gang Green in the next round. Irvine won their series against the Plymouth Rocks 4 games to 0. The League Championship schedule will be announced after the Divisional Round finishes. |
