Gang Green Dominate, Sweep Divisional Round Sunday, October 18th, 2026 The Irvine Gang Green are on to the League Championship after a convincing series win over the Plymouth Rocks. Irvine wrapped up the series sweep with a 10-4 win in the last game, to take the series 4-0. "We expected to win and we executed the way we needed to," said Jorge Martínez, who was named series MVP. For the series, Martínez hit .500 with a .500 on-base percentage. He had 5 home runs, drove in 9 RBI and scored 6 runs. The Irvine Gang Green don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Baffin Island Beavers - New Orleans Looters series. Baffin Island leads the series 2 games to 1. The League Championship schedule will be announced after the Divisional Round finishes. |
