Cards Arellano Injured Wednesday, September 30th, 2026 The Cards received bad news this morning. Paco Arellano will miss 6 weeks due to a fractured thumb. He sustained the injury in the Portland-St. Louis game while making a defensive play. "I'm disappointed more than anything," he told reporters later in the day. "You can't help your team on the bench," Arellano sighed. "I'll do the rehab work and hope for a quick recovery." Arellano is hitting .306 for the season with 22 home runs, 77 RBIs and 66 runs scored. He has 129 hits in 422 at-bats and played in 102 games. |
