Lara Sensational, 5-for-5 Monday, September 21st, 2026 There are moments in a player's career that are etched into their memories forever. Andrés Lara of the Plymouth Rocks had one of those moments when he went 5 for 5 at the plate today in the 7-0 win over the Orlando Calrissian at Mel Fields. The 25-year-old right fielder told reporters in the postgame interview, "This is a day I won't forget soon, but I'll settle to just get a hit or two every day... enough hits to hang around the league a little bit longer... like 10... 15 more years maybe." Andrés Lara singled in the 1st, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. This year Lara is hitting .291 with 7 home runs and 58 RBIs in 124 games played.
