Ouch! Mark Riggs Shelved by Injury Wednesday, May 7th, 2025 Mark Riggs expressed his disappointment when he learned that a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament would sideline him for 15 months. "I'll just spend a lot of time in the training room and hopefully speed up the healing process. Nobody likes to be out of the line-up," explained Riggs. The starting pitcher got hurt in today's game with the John Jay HS Patriots. He was hurt throwing a pitch. Team officials had no comment on his roster replacement. Riggs has made 8 starts this season, posting no wins and 4 losses. Opposing clubs are batting .369 against him and he has 20 strikeouts in 26.1 innings with a 10.25 ERA. |
