Bruno Goes Hitless, Streak Stopped at 36 Sunday, April 20th, 2025 The streak has been snapped. Juan Bruno failed to get a hit in today's game against the Patriots and his 36-game hitting spree has come to an end. The 16-year-old Fresno HS center fielder was 0-for-4, but the Red Wings got the win and defeated the Patriots 12-9. "I'm not disappointed at all; I had a great run," Bruno said. "It was fun. I got to 36 games. I got my name into an elite group with a bunch of good ballplayers." Bruno is batting .459 with 9 home runs and 26 RBIs this season. |
